Where did the time go? The end of the school year is quickly approaching, and before you know it, Grads will be donning their caps and gown and walking down the aisle (in person!)
Unlike the Class of 2020, this year’s class will be able to walk across the stage and get that diploma they have been working for all these years. Now that we are able to celebrate together, it’s time to start thinking about throwing the ultimate Graduation Party.
Since this celebration may be the first one people are attending in well over a year, you may feel added pressure to make it perfect! With decades in the event planning business, Stuart Event Rentals has learned some tips and tricks for what it takes to throw a stress-free, memorable event.
Here are some tips and tricks to throw an amazing grad party your guests (and Grad) will love!
Graduation Photo Station
Let’s face it, if there aren’t photos of your event on social media, did it even happen? Making a social media-ready photo station is a great way to guarantee your guest will share the fun and excitement of the party. Wood Walls, Faux Hedges, Pipe and Drape, and balloon arches are some ways to make the perfect backdrop. Personalize it with school colors and graduation props!
Memorable Drink Stations
Having one bar for a multitude of guests can be problematic. Try setting up several, unique beverage stations all around your party. Each one can cater to a different beverage theme, such as Mimosa Station, Soda Station, Specialty Cocktail section, etc. Stuart also has a variety of bars and back bars to choose from as well.
Outdoor Bistro Lighting
When the day turns into night, having Bistro lighting up in the yard gives just the right amount of light to keep the party going. The lighting looks classy and is much less harsh than that flood light you have in the backyard currently.
Special Dessert Station
Having a separate dessert station with a variety of treats for your guests will elevate your celebration. Having a variety of different sweets will help to please even the most decerning sweet tooth. You can use a specialty table or a bar for maximum effect.
